Hello!

My name is Alaina Paulette and I’m currently a student at Kent State University (Class of 2026). I’m a double major getting my B.A in both fashion design and fashion merchandising.

After spending many mornings in my grandmothers sewing room, I always had a fascination with sewing/creating in general. I spent many years always being creative, but I didn’t get back into sewing until 2020’s quarantine where I retaught myself. Then after spending a year at a different school studying business, I realized that I couldn't live with myself if I didn't pursue this passion.

I’m very interested in womenswear and children’s wear. Growing up on the plus side, I always wanted to make stylish/fun clothes instead of always being pushed towards business casual.

My dream is to own a boutique and repair shop. I want people of all kinds to feel comfortable and stylish, and to extend the longevity of those items to become cherished heirlooms.
